All-star Cheerleading Coaches

Amanda Augustine

(Coach Auggie) has been involved with the sport of cheerleading for 19 years.  Starting at the age of 7 in the Bronx, she cheered for Pop Warner, High School and All-Stars while finishing up at Western Connecticut State University College Cheer.   Auggie has coached numerous teams in the greater Danbury area to various State, Regional, Grand and National titles.  After becoming a part of the Spirit family in high school, Auggie rejoined the Spirit Zone family in 2012 coaching the half year team Turqoise.  She graduated from Western Connecticut State University, with a dual degree in Justice and Law Administration and Nursing, where she currently works as a Pediatric Nurse at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital.

Neisha Vega

Neisha has been cheering since she was 7 years old.   She was an AFC cheerleader for the Ridgefield Raiders.   At age 9, she moved to New Milford and began cheering for Pop Warner on the New Milford Bulls.   She continued cheering throughout Pop Warner until high school and then decided to try All-Star cheerleading.  She has been an All Star cheerleader for 4 years.  Neisha has been a student demonstrator for the New Milford Bulls for 3 years.

 

Kayla Kavanaugh

Kayla has been an All-Star cheerleading since she was 9 years old.  She cheered for two years at Take One AllStars and two years for Northeast Tropics.  Kayla is currently a varsity cheerleader on Brookfield High School.
